Today was a great day.

Today I went to check out a street market with my family. It was very crowded, but I got to check out a couple of music and book stores and managed to pick up a vinyl version of Ride the Lightning.

Along the way, my mother took me to a music conservatory where she is considering to sign me up for piano lessons, mainly for my interest in movie soundtracks. As I spoke with the teacher, she told me that she was a vocalist who knew a good voice when she heard one. She complemented my voice, saying that I had a nice baritone, something that one would hear on a radio station announcer. ^^ It's a fantastic feeling, since voice work was one of my interests besides cartoons and computers, and I have become a bit more convinced to experiment with voice work. ^^

Importantly, I got my glasses replaced today, almost one year after breaking my last pair. It's such a relief to be able to see things clearly again!
